What is a snaglist inspection?

A snaglist inspection is an opportunity to have a professional inspect your property, make a list of any faults or unfinished work that will then be presented to the Builder to rectify prior to you moving in to your new home.

What we do

At Property Snag we take the pressure off you by preparing a comprehensive snag list of your new home. We start at the front gate and finish at the back-garden fence. Inside we inspect the property on a room by room basis. You will receive a detailed easy to follow report.

Can I attend the snagging inspection process?

Yes. You are more than welcome to attend whilst your property is being inspected, however please check with the construction company if you can bring you children along.

What happens if I cannot attend?

We will inspect the property at the time and date agreed, we will compile the snag list in exactly the same manner as though you were there. The snag list will then be fully typed up in our format and sent to you by email.

Do you send the snag list to the builder?

Yes. We will send the snag list to the builder and any other email address you provide us with.

Do you do a follow-up snag inspection?

Yes. We can undertake the follow-up snag inspection however there would be an additional fee see Our Prices.

Will the builder fix all the snags?

Generally, yes however in some instances the builder may not supply the item mentioned in the snag list for example, door stops. Some builders do not fit them.
